Terms & Conditions for Justice of Winchester Ltd

Thank you for visiting www.justice.co.uk (which hereinafter maybe referred to as "Justice", "the site", "we", "us" or "our"). These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and purchase of goods and services from the site. By continuing to access the www.Justice.co.uk website you are deemed to be accepting and consenting to the practices described in the terms and conditions, which may be updated by us from time to time. We are also not responsible for the content of any third party website that is linked to this site. Amended terms and conditions will become applicable once they have been posted on the Justice website.

Shipping outside the UK

Shipping to Europe has a handling fee of £14.50 to cover postage costs, all our parcels are sent international signed for and require a signature for delivery.
Shipping outside to the US has a £19.50 fee to cover postage costs, all parcels are sent international signed for service and require a signature, if you are not home a card is left by the mail company and you can arrange a collection. All delivery dates on our website are for UK delivery, please contact sales@justice.co.uk if you require delivery information for a particular item. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping destination. 

All purchases are charged in (£) GBP. 

Terms of sale

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation, by email, of the order price.


No contract will exist between you and Justice for the sale of any product until we have accepted your order with confirmation that it has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only adults (persons aged 18 and over) are entitled to enter into legally binding contracts with Justice.


Prices shown on the site are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are liable to change at any time without prior warning. Please note that on occasion certain products that are in particularly high demand may sell out during a set period. In such a scenario, the price of a product displayed on our website at the time the order is accepted will be honoured. After dispatch of your order, if there are changes to our online stock pricing we will honour the difference if requested within 7 days after the dispatch date of your order.

Exchange & Refund Policy

Online Purchases:
A customer wishing to return goods within either seven working days from the date of purchase or seven days from the receipt of goods, whichever is the longer, is entitled to a full refund of the cost of the item, under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000). We regret that we are unable to refund for any delivery costs.

Returns will only be accepted providing they are accompanied by a Returns number and a valid receipt or recognised proof of purchase. Goods can only be returned if they are in their original merchantable condition including all packaging. We strongly recommend all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before disposing of any original packaging.

If you wish to return an item a Returns number must be requested from Justice within 7 days of delivery. Returns numbers can be requested by emailing sales@justice.co.uk. Please note that unidentified returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender. We request that all goods being returned are returned within 7 days of issuing your Returns number. 

Bespoke items and special sizes are Special Orders, this means that we do not carry the specific item as standard stock, the item will be made especially for you; because of this, the piece of jewellery cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.

We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods, if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving the Returns number. The return address and is stated on paperwork supplied with your goods. Failure to obtain a Returns number or to return goods other than via Royal Mail Special Delivery does not affect your statutory rights.

Should you wish to cancel an Order Now item you must do so within 7 days of placing the order and we will refund you in full. This does not apply to Special Orders, non-standard sizes or bespoke items, which are not eligible for cancellations, returns or refunds.

Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice on the same card or by the same means the good were paid for initially. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card.Alternatively, you can request a Justice credit note that can be used against future purchase at www.justice.co.uk or instore.

Instore Purchases:
In common with other luxury jewellery brands we operate differing terms and condition in store to those online. Where goods may be unsuitable, we are unable to offer refunds on purchases made in one or our stores, but we are happy to exchange items up to two months after purchase, providing they are accompanied by a valid receipt of purchase and that goods are in their original merchantable condition. Unlike many jewellers, this policy does include earrings.

Goods can be exchanged for items of an equal value, for a credit note or for gift vouchers. Credit notes are valid for two months after the date issued.

Special Order Items & Bespoke Commissions:
Please note that exchanges are not offered on commissions, bespoke items and special orders/pre-orders. We are also unable to offer exchanges on items that have been altered or resized. Silver rings purchased as gifts, may be returned to us for resizing or exchanged for the correct size free of charge, providing the ring size falls within standard sizing. Gold, platinum and palladium ring sizings will be quoted for individually.

For any items bought online or in one of our stores, if an item is found to be defective, the outcome of a refund/exchange or repair will be decided upon after a full and thorough investigation by Justice and if deemed necessary, independently by the Designer/Jeweller/maker of the piece.

Hallmarked Metals

Justice only deals with gold, platinum, palladium and silver that can be hallmarked by the Assay Office London, Edinburgh and Birmingham. By only dealing in recognised hallmarked goods we provide you with the certainty that you will only be purchasing gold, platinum or sterling silver as defined by the exacting standards of recognised assay offices. Each piece we carry is hand selected and always has the registered makers mark to guarantee its authenticity. Items under the legal weight threshold may not be hallmarked.

Intellectual Property

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights, all brand names, names of lines, designs and models of items that appear on the website are the exclusive property of the Designer, Jeweller or Justice. All intellectual property rights associated with items created in association with our commissions or bespoke services are and will remain the property of Justice of Winchester Ltd. Any utilisation, reproduction, even partial of the designs, models, brand names, and names of lines is totally prohibited. Offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permissible under applicable U.K. & International law which may result in civil and criminal penalties

No Commercial Use

The Justice site is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content, software, products, or services contained within the site. You may not use this site, or any of its content, to further any commercial purpose, including any advertising or advertising revenue generation activity on your own site. This also pertains to the www.Justice.co.uk (and subsequent page's) website artwork and design.

Website security

Justice is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We will only accept orders from web browsers and or devices that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which will help prevent you from placing an order or sharing information on an unsecured web browser that may be liable to internet vulnerabilities. The latest and up to date releases/versions of the following browsers and devices are SSL compliant: Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and all current updated Apple iOS devices. (non-"jailbreak" devices). The Justice website utilises 'cookies'. We only use these for allowing faster webpage loading times and for our own personal statistics. This data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The European Union Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications (July 2002) recognises that cookies are a "legitimate and a useful tool" for many activities, including the verification of web users' identities.
